23. Well put
I told a friend the other day that the country might be ready for someone like Dennis in 70 years or so. Maybe I was being optimistic.

Kucinich wouldn't have a chance. I think a quarter or more of the democratic party would defect were he to be nominated.

This country is way to the right of Dennis.

21. A little humor
but he was never a serious candidate and to discuss him as such is pure folly.

Serious about real issues.

8. What if he had campaigned as the nominee in Florida?
Hitting hard on raising the minimum wage in a state where 60% of Bush supporters voted for an increase? I've seen him engage conservatives personally and win them over. In the NC primary, he carried the three counties that he had personally visited.

18. I would like that honestly
if he wants to become a nominee someday, you gotta build up your name.

27. Very true
He should run for governor or senator. Kucinich would have a tough time getting elected to a statewide office but it's worth a try.

I don't think someone without a leadership position in the House has a very viable chance anyways. If he wants to be taken as even a slightly more serious candidate, he's gotta get elected to a statewide office.

28. yep I hate to say that to the people who want him to run
but it really would build up his name and thus I think would enable him to do better in the primaries.

What the Right Wing would do to Dennis. I also think that the perfect team if it could happen would be:
Kucinich
&
Sharpton

i'm tired of losing to these morons. Dean, maybe- Kucinich, no.

i'd love to see him in a cabinet post, though- or as house minority leader instead of pelosi. but let's be realistic, folks.

25. Dennis has his heart in the right place
And I hope we get a candidate with similar values.

However, he is a horrible communicator and just not presidential. I mean, he had the gall to get up at the Progressive Convention after Dean spoke (very well, might I add) and proclaim to cheers "THANK YOU AMERICA"...it was a hall of 250 or so people.
