OK here is how we win 2008
Don't change your party values, but run me instead. I'm Jesus and I want to be your next President. I've been living in a small town known as south park. I believe with my strong belief of Christian Values I can win. If they try to smear me then I'll tell them that I died for their sins. If Bush tries to say that it is DIVINE that he be President again in 2008. Then all I will have to say is stop using my fathers name in vein. Then Millions of Christians will cheer because they will see him for what he really is a false prophet. So vote Jesus because I approve this message.

BTW Satire.

2. Let's Get To 2006 First...And We Better Start NOW
We have great people in Congress like Rahm Emanuel, Charlie Rangel, Shiela Jackson-Lee, Maxine Waters, Carolyn Maloney, Jan Schakowski and many other great people. These people are our real defenders and heroes and they are handcuffed.

If you want to see where a major problem is and continues to grow, it's our lack of control of the house. We're in total hell for the next 2 years thanks to losing more seats last Tuesday, and a redrawn map that has moved more seats into RED areas that have shrunk our minority even further.

Another loss like what we took last Tuesday and we're looking at a veto proof House & Senate that will be lucky to lead the pledge yet conduct any serious opposition or even delays on a wide range of our important issues. These people need our help and they need it now.

First, time to blow off what happened last Tuesday and realize that this can happen again if we don't start working at the state and local levels to build up the party and give our people in Congress the ability to be heard and then from there to legislate and lead.

Virtually all of the great hallmark Democratic programs of the 20th Century...from Social Security to Medicare to Civil Rights came when we had large majorities in control of the House and Senate and controlled the votes and the agenda. Right now we're on the polar opposite, it's time we get out of the cold.
