1. Sigh - I know the feeling. Just wanted you to know you're not alone.
I was commiserating with a girlfriend last night - one who is also teetering between ungodly anger and deep despondency. She says we're in mourning, as though it were a death in the family, and that it'll take some time. She's a grief counselor and she said we just need time to grieve, and we need to take that time before we pick ourselves up and determine what to do. So I'm taking the time, such as it is, and insofar as I can. Hope you can, also. You're not alone.

Hugs.

3. January 20, 2005 - Day Of Reckoning
I plan to be far out of sight that day...as two years of living hell over this country will begin.

Unfortunately that might be the day some people here really wake up to what just happened to us, and maybe look and see how perilous the situation for the Democratic party is in. By then the GOOP machine will be off and running.

Time to stop the pity parties and get real here. Time to figure on how to win elections and soon or have even deeper problems. Not a defeatist here, a realist...we're facing Veto-proof majorities in both houses and further alienating moderates in the purple areas that will be attacked by the GOOP next.
