Here we Go, Florida Democrat Goes to the FBI
The Democratic contender for US House of Representatives in Florida's 16th disctrict, Jeff Fisher, has gone to the FBI, claiming conclusive proof of the hacking of the 2004 and 2002 elections. Things are moving, people, don't stop putting the pressure on the media and our reps:

1. Fantastic -- Let's make sure Olbermann gets this
And maybe a bunch of other stuff as well.

Anyone have Keith's email? It would probably be good if a number of us emailed him with it.

3. i guess someone should make the obligatory statement -
stay off small planes, but really, if these people are evil enough to corrupt the system, they will do anything. Bless you Mr. Fisher, and be careful.

But there's something not right with that guy.

If his actions lead to what we want, more power to him.

34. Here's his website. He is not your traditional Dem...which could be good
http://www.jefffisherforcongress.com/

http://www.walkingwithfisher.com/indexpage1page1.htm

If everyone who is not your traditional Democrat is nuts, count me in.

And a description of him from the Sun Sentinel:
SNIP..""Fisher, 43, offered himself as a "liberal progressive
constitutional Democrat," if one with a limited
political résumé and even more limited funds. A Palm
Beach County Democratic Executive Committee member who
ran for the Wellington Village Council in 2002, Fisher
said he raised no money for his congressional
campaign, paying candidate fees by selling his own
stocks.

His campaign platform was broad enough to take in left
wing and right, its planks ranging from
decriminalizing marijuana to supporting gun rights.
His priorities included repealing the USA Patriot Act
because he considers it a violation of constitutional
rights, engaging the United Nations in overseeing
efforts to create democracy in Iraq and promoting the
use of plants and other organic matter as an energy
source."END SNIP

9. good -- there's a lot about Election 2004 that warrants scrutiny
Mind you, our political problems aren't going to vanish, even in light of conclusive proof of cheating by the repugs.

But that fact should by no means be offered up as a reason not to look closely at the numbers. There are things that want explaining.

I would love it if the people that bring all this to light are part of our base that they hate.

The spin should work both ways.

My understanding is that 10% of the population is gay.

Maybe the ones that did the hacking are gay too. :)

Small Business Owner (Bagels) in the area. Anyways, he's always been a gay politician. Run some news searches at the Sun Sentinal if you'd like.

He was running for Congress in the 22nd District before dropping out. He was the bagel shop owner and former Mayor of Wilton Manors.

Fisher is straight and ran in the 16th District against Mark Foley.

13. bad logic
The small rural counties with overwhelming democratic registration are just "old time" democrats from the days when the democrats ruled the south.

These rural voters have switched to republican and just never bothered to change their party registration.

FLY THAT FLAG UPSIDE DOWN

My brothers in arms

These mist covered mountains
Are a home now for me
But my home is the lowlands
And always will be
Some day you’ll return to
Your valleys and your farms
And you’ll no longer burn
To be brothers in arms

Through these fields of destruction
Baptisms of fire
I’ve watched all your suffering
As the battles raged higher
And though they did hurt me so bad
In the fear and alarm
You did not desert me
My brothers in arms

There’s so many different worlds
So many differents suns
And we have just one world
But we live in different ones

Now the sun’s gone to hell
And the moon’s riding high
Let me bid you farewell
Every man has to die
But it’s written in the starlight
And every line on your palm
We’re fools to make war
On our brothers in arms

37. This looks damning
"In Baker County, for example, with 12,887 registered voters, 69.3% of them Democrats and 24.3% of them Republicans, the vote was only 2,180 for Kerry and 7,738 for Bush, the opposite of what is seen everywhere else in the country where registered Democrats largely voted for Kerry. "

"In Dixie County, with 4,988 registered voters, 77.5% of them Democrats and a mere 15% registered as Republicans, only 1,959 people voted for Kerry, but 4,433 voted for Bush. "

here is no explaining your way around the data above. Looks like a clear case of fraud.
