Stolen or not, 50% of the country loves Bush*!
We got an uphill battle.

In my "blue state" - the "left coast", land of liberals.. Cali, Shrubster got 4.7 MILLION votes - 45% of the vote.

That should scare the hell out of you - it does me.

1/2 the country is blind, and we are in deep shit no matter what.

I'm off to bed, but I thought I'd leave DU with that sombering thought I had before signing off.

2. most Bush supporters think we found wmd in Iraq
most of them think Iraq was involved in the 9/11 attacks.

majority of them are religious right wingers who think gay marriage is threat to this country.

4. jokingly I said to my Hubby
right after the election that people should take a test before they're allowed to vote, it went something like this:

Yes or No

Iraq has WMD?
(throw out 1/2 the * supporters)

Iraq was involved in the 9/11 terrorist attacks?
(throw out 1/2 of the remaining supporters)

Okay, let the 3 remaining people vote

3. Only 28-30% voted for Bush
According to Census figures in 2002 there were 210 million persons of voting Age. Approximately 15 million are not citizens and cannot vote. So, either 28% or 30% voted for Bush. I like reminding folks that 70% did not vote for the chimp.

7. because they voted for him doesn't mean they LOVE him
for a lot of people it was a close call between bush and kerry. a 3% victory does not translate to love.

8. I've seriously wondered
that say our dreams come true and voter fraud is brought out and verified and Kerry becomes the president..that the repubs will be upset and still not think Bush did anything wrong!!!
