Hillary/Obama 2008! .....um.....
NOT!

I keep hearing the AAR's Majority Report ad with Janeane saying it will be "sweet" to see that ticket.

We need to stop this lemming talk before it gets too far.

Why?

Hillary would guarantee another loss in the Demo 2008 Prez election and Obama needs at least a couple terms to get his DC career going.

Janeane...stop it!

1. It would be "sweet"...
...to see that ticket, but we won't see it in 2008 if at all. Obama has said 2008 isn't in his cards, and another Senator/Senator ticket would be pretty retarded...

3. Sweet, it would not be
I'd have to hold my nose to vote for Hillary again. I'm her constituent, and I am very unimpressed with her.

I'd vote for Obama in a heartbeat.

4. The test is this:
How many of the red states would Hillary win? If any, then she should be on the ticket. Otherwise, she can stay in NY.

6. I might actually vote Repub instead of voting for Hillary
She's okay as a senator, but I just can't stand the thought of the first "First Man" being someone the Repubs call "Slick Willie"

14. Since the DLC does not seem to want to fight for our right to vote,
I might as well nominate this guy.

He's not going to win either.

8. It doesn't matter who runs in 2008
if Kerry and the DNC remain silent about the repubs rigged election.
If there are enough of us who feel abandoned, the Dems may not be able to win us in '08.

10. That's why Janeane........
.........should stick to Hollywood. That might make a great romantic comedy, but not a winning ticket at this point at least.

15. 2008
The Democrat need to have a good candidate like Dick Gephart, the Missouri Congressman. Or some Governor who had worked on both sides of the isles. This Obama guy is brand new, and black. YES, I will say that again just in case the PC police is reading my comments. Hillary, is another person with so much NEGATIVE associated with her name. Howard Dean had nothing against his candidacy except the left shimming with the right that he screamed! The other dude from Ohio, was a good candidate as far as ideas, but was too short.

Remember the movie "the candidate", where they selected a nobody (Robert Redford) just because he has a pretty face. This crap works. The Democrats should start looking at the different governors, Senators, and Congressmen/women, and select an articulate pretty face with no skeleton in his/her closet.

The gay marriage issue should be dropped with clear statement, not with BS like Kerry. Partial Birth Abortion should be dropped. We are not in any position to fight this fanatical fundamentalists. May be after we have a 24x7 talk radio to counter their propaganda campaign then we can stand our ground. Now, however, we have an uphill Battle, and we must fight it from the CENTER!

21. new to DU
I voted for Bush in 2000, and was registered Republican. I am a Democrat now (voted Kerry not because I liked him but because I don't like Bush), and still have views that may differ with the democrats, but I am an ocean away from the Neocons, and knuckle dragging foaming at the mouth Evangelical Republicans. Thank you for offering me home on your board. I have contributed many criticism on right wing site called Free Republic, and found it is fruitless to engage these robots in common sense discussions. So far, I found the intellectual milieu here is head and shoulder above the other robots.

just become Republicans?
