Kerry Returns to Capitol to Meet Leaders

I know it's a few days old but I just came across this. In case I am not the only who missed it, here it is.

WASHINGTON Nov 10, 2004 — No longer a presidential candidate but still a voice for the Democrats, Sen. John Kerry met with the party's congressional leadership Tuesday as he moved into the next phase of his political life.

"We need to be unified and we have a very clear agenda," Kerry said at the start of the meeting. "I'm going to be fighting for that agenda with all my energy and all the passion that I brought to the campaign."

2. I hate to say this

Senator Kerry, your method of fighting for 'us' leaves a whole lot to be desired. Maybe it is best for you to just settle into your mundane style of work and leave us to seek for someone else who will truely stand with and fight back against the reThugs.
