What are we going to do? Despite the fact that I thought Kerry legitimately won, there was no reason that this election should have been close. The DNC and Co. lived up to their political dinosaur image, as Rove maneuvered around an aloof party that took just about everything they shouldn't have for granted. The democrats acted like a Brontosaurus, while the GOP acted like a bloodthirsty Velociraptor. Why wasn't there more pressure from the Dems on the media to cover the failures of Bush? Why has it taken so long for the Democrats to figure out the dark psychology that Rove uses to win elections and turn it around on Bush? Why haven't the Democrats developed a media network to get their message out? Why do Democrats seem to think that humans are rational beings and that the truth will set them free? It may, but not in politics. In the game of politics, there should be one goal: WIN. There should also be one rule: WIN. Rove won because he wanted it more. He lives and breathes power. He wants power, and will stop at nothing to get it. But he is also smart and careful. It's time the democrats get mad. Not just the people, but the leaders.
From here on out, it's either fuck or walk. Which one will it be?
