Which candidate does this quote belong to & reference to to what?
Edited on Mon Jan-19-04 04:35 PM by Democrats unite
"We are now in a position of ignoring, as many did in the 1940s, one of the worst crimes committed in history. If we ignore these behaviors, no matter where they occur, our moral fiber as a people becomes weakened.

edit: spelling.

7. Here is the letter from Dean to President Clinton.
http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/nation/2004-01-14-dean-letter_x.htm

And the reason I am posting this is to ensure that if there is going to be name calling tonight, about the Actions Clark took here...people need know where Dean stood on the issue.

8. Wow that is one good letter!
It sounds pretty presidential. My sister in law is from Montenegro and I thank both Dean and Clark and Clinton for doing their part in stopping Melosivich. I thank them on behalf of my sister in law and myself, she comes from good people.

10. One of my good friends is a Kosovar Albanian
He runs a restaurant here, and still has family in Kosovo. I'll not bash dr. Dean or gen. Clark for Kosovo. :)

9. by the Actions Clark took, you are refering to the Kosovo War?
If so, then you'll get no name calling from this Deanie, and I suspect, not from many others.

11. I think there may be some confusion with between the SOA
and Bosnia. I don't think many too Dean supporters have anything but praise for Clark's actions in stopping genocide in Kosovo- and I imagine a good many- including yours truly believe that we should have marshalled our allies and taken action to stop the genocide in the Balkans a lot sooner.
