With TiVo, it's possible to do searches for and create "wish lists" keyed to actors, directors, keywords, topics, genres, etc. After you create a wish list, you can click on it anytime and search all upcoming programs to be shown on any channel, including PPV, related to that actor, topic, etc., for the next couple of weeks. Then you can click a couple more times and get TiVo to record any programs you want to see, et voila! good things to watch are available to you even when there's nothing good being shown anywhere at the time. It beats TV Guide with a stick and finds treasures in the wasteland.
So I was checking my wish lists today and saw this title, THE CENTURY OF W
Naturally, I was taken aback (Dear God, a whole century?!) but I knew the "W" was just the first letter of a title too long to fit on the TiVo list showing titles related to a wish list. I could also see from the title list that The Century of W would be shown on the History channel. With some trepidation, I clicked the title for more info. . .
and saw that. . .
