5. I think what people here are objecting to...
are media hos like Judith Miller and Bob Novak helping their neocon friends commit felonies and then abusing the First Amendment to dodge going in front of a grand jury to answer for their crimes. Then you have someone like Miller going on TV and giving a sob story on how the media is under assault by the government because she was compelled to reveal her information or go to jail. Talk about chutzpah. Personally, I think she should be in jail for being Chalabi and Perle's stenographer before and during the Iraq war, although that's not the reason she was subpoenaed by a grand jury.

6. Here's my basic guideline
If most Republicans and the Bush administration would support this then it might be a good idea to look more closely at some of the "unintended" consequences.
