This is how DeLay responds to "bipartisan" efforts
These remarks were made in a presser *right after* 4 out of 5 DEMS on the ethics committee sanctioned Bell for bringing charges against DeLay:

I understand the Democrat Party's adjustment to their national minority status is frustrating, but their crushing defeat in the elections earlier this month, after two more years of Democrat obstruction and vicious personal attacks, should show them that the American people are tired of the politics of personal destruction.

It is a shame that Democrat anger at their loss of power has manifested itself in contemptible behavior like Mr. Bell's, but hopefully the Ethics Committee's nine-count, categorical, bipartisan rebuke will finally end Democrats' obsessive desire to undo the last six national elections.

...sweeping condemnation of the very party that just contorted itself to chide its own member for trying to shine a light on this reprobate. That's what bipartisanship looks like. This is their leader. This is who will set the tone in the House. Work with that.

4. There is no indication that will happen
Except for beliefs like "everything will work out for the best", I don't understand why everyone thinks they will get theirs. It isn't true. Sometime bad things happen and don't get better.

2. The democrats who went along with the bill to shelter criminals like
DeLay are no better than he is.

We have to get rid of some of this trash in the democratic party. For God's sakes folks, they don't represent us, they're either using their position in the government as a frigging stepping stone for a cushy place in a major US corporation (who are no friends to the American public) or are going to stay in there for decades (i.e. Strom Thurmond) and milk the public for every damn dime and benefit they can.

These f**** aren't a damn bit interested in the party, they're only in it for themselves and plan on doing whatever it takes to make their position secure. We need to come up with a few more Barak Obama's in this party or we are screwed.
