Sponge Bob surges ahead of O'Reilly...
For the past three weeks, the O'Reilly factor has outdrawn the venerable leader of Cable Ratings SpongeBob. But this week, the Nick star soaked up the audience as O'Reilly's, the only Fox celebrity commentator to break the top forty, sunk.

Reached as his office in Bikini Bottom, Under the Sea, the Cable giant waxed philosophically about his brief stint looking up at O'Reilly.

"It's the same every election cycle." said "Bob" as he likes to be called off camera.

"The people swarm like Jelly fish to Fox in general and O'Reilly in particular and then gravitate back to CBN to hear about Judgment Day from my dear friend, Pat Robertson. You know he gave me my first break by firing me. Honestly, I was just hanging around in the kitchen over there at the 700, they were going to have some Christian food show, honestly, between you and me I can't tell any difference between Devil's Food Cake and Darkie Cake, but hey, it's his gig.."

"Anyway, he storms in, railing about that "Whore" Jimmy Swagart and his "phony tears" and takes one looks at me and stops dead in his tracks. "Why is the Sponge wearing shorts, a white shirt and a tie. It's an abomination" and he throws me out the window like I'm so much meat.

"So that's when I decided to go back to "my people" and ended up here in Bikini Bottom."

"Five minutes Mr. Bob."

"A Okay," Bob made the little hand sign.....

"So where was I, yes, my movie. So O'Rielly is running around with this crazy ass children's book. Now tell me, that guy is just scary, how does he expect kids to take advise from that big scary head. Hell, between you and me, I would say Patrick has a better sense of what the kids are up to and he's, you know, a little slow on the uptake, if you get my drift.

"So we made this movie to show everyone that no matter how many books O'Reilly write or sells, more people tune in to my show and will go to my movie. Period. End of story.....

"Two minutes Mr. Bob."

With that, "Bob', the undisputed king of Cable TV took off to tape today's show.

We'll be back with a behind the scene look at what makes "Bob" tick. I'm Marlin Shaffer and this is something less than 60 minutes......

Just a little perspective about the impact that Big Bill and Wolf and all the other Cable tlaking heads really have....

2. And SpongeBob has a much better grip on reality, too.
I think DildO'Reilly is more like Squidward.

6. On a really good night, as Tom Brokaw said the other
day on the Daily Show, they might get 4 million viewers. Thats only 1.4% of the total population of the US. And if you look, no CNN, no Hannity, no Matthews, no Miller, no Zahn.. Nada. no one is watching this stuff but us and those political and or news junkies on the other side.....

More people watch the news hour than watch almost everything on Cable that is news related.....

4. SpongeBob's smarter, cuter, AND knows more about the issues!
And I agree ... that comparison is unfair to Squidward. Compare O'Really to Plankton and you might have something there.... :D

5. I would definintely say Squidward compares favorably to O'Reilly.
All I meant was that O'Reilly is more like Squidward, who can be kind of a dick, than he is like SpongeBob, who is always nice. DildO is never nice. But I never intended to slander Squidward by suggesting he's just as vile as O'Reilly.
