Byrd is speaking. The Repukes slipped a few sentences in the omnibus appropriations bill to allow Ted Stevens and staff to look at IRS returns!!!! Democrats are opening up a can of whup ass.

The Republicans would never dare to do it publicly, they do this shit after hours or slip it into bills hoping no ne will notice. This is how they do their business...it's their MO.

4. Stevens was outraged, simply outraged that this could occur.
But the Republicans objected to unanimous consent to strike it from the bill. Byrd is voting against this chicanary. Trying to resolve this in the cloak room.
