appropriations bill vote
Sen Byrd of wv called it a monstrosity. vote still going on C-Span. clinton and feinstein voted for it, boxer and mccain & of course kennedy and kerry and edwards against. don't know the rest.
What's with Hillary?

voted against funding for breast cancer research"?

It's one great horror show. Sen Byrd was magnificent. "They'll stone you when you're playing your guitar". So might as well be on the side of the angels. People in N.y. should get on Hillary...california on Feinstein; Hillary missed a very close vote on debt extension, but this is worse. They stuck some wierd things in it. But some other things going on...bill being sent back to the house for changes on income tax snooping provision. Boxer is great.

6. I know, I've been watching. I just mean this is a HUGE bill including
millions of things - some pork, some very necessary. It has been a circus. I want footage of the cloakroom.

2. The current vote is NOT for the bill. They are currently voting on
"conference notes" or something like that. They have two more votes after this one B4 they vote on the actual spending bill.

being sent back to house. interesting though that boxer, kerry, kennedy, mccain still voted no.

8. Yeah, it looks like it to me too now. That's what I get for listening
to someone else on that other thread. My hubby was watching something else and I just turned it back over there a few minutes ago.
