What are the laws regarding suing a president or members of congress?
I'd love to see a class-action lawsuit against Bush for financial mismanagement or the like.

4. Correction: The "Supremes" said republicks can sue a DEMOCRATIC
sitting President in Civil Court. It may not have read that way, but just try and sue bushler* and see if they don't come out and clarify it to exactly that.

2. presidential and congressional immunity...
...for acts taken w/in the scope of the employment (and in cases with the Pres., he is immune for most acts beyond the scope of his employ while he's pres).

3. If I recall correctly from the Monica Lewinsky debacle
the Supreme Court ruled that a sitting president CAN be sued. Lawyers were trying to argue that he couldn't during the whole Paula Jones thing.
