My neighbors just TODAY put up a huge "BUSH" sign in their window
They never had a Bush sign anywhere on their property during the campaign, and this new sign pops up today.

Wonder if they are welcoming liberal relatives to Thanksgiving dinner with the sign? Says a lot about the mentality of right-wingers. Personally, if I were invited to their house for Thanksgiving, and saw that sign, I'd turn around and go home.

1. I don't know....
if Kerry had won (all fraud comments aside) I would have had one of the 4x6 ft Kerry/Edwards signs in my front yard welcoming my RW relatives!

But then... I'm a pretty good loser... but not so humble in victory.

No self-respecting Dem would ever put that under a pic of Kerry, for instance. Only sheeple have that kind of mentality.

41. Kerry signs...
I was driving through Atlanta with my mom this past weekend. Almost all the houses in the neighborhood we were passing through still had Kerry signs in the yard. My mom is a republican, she said with vague annoyance "you'd think they would take those down by now" lol I dont even think it occurred to her that some people believe Kerry won. Hell even if they didn't they still can voice their preference.

Might be a plan for the next pro-bush march on DC. Progressives show up all carrying poster pictures of GW while sieg heiling in goosestep. All under the guise of supporting the turd.
Might wake some people up.

It reads: "bush KNEW."

I took everything off except for my aging, puckered, sun-damaged "War is Not the Answer" sticker. I'm changing my mind now. I think I will also dig out that "If you're not appalled, you're not paying attention" sticker and put it on, too.

Wish I had a "Don't blame me, I voted for Kerry" sticker. I'd add that in, too.

I've noticed the signs from BOTH signs lately, and just really feel that despite the overall Media "lock-down," most are aware the election most probably was stolen...and until it's resolved, both sides will keep "promoting" their candidate.
I for one still have MY Kerry bumper sticker on!

70. Hey, great idea. And we can do that easy.
If they have a * sign, bumper sticker, whatever, we'd know who to send them to. Also, using the link below, put in your zip code and see who in your neighborhood donated to * or the RNC. And send THEM some enlistment info too. I really think we should do this. What a nice way to help the nation. We can get the enlistment totals up and the the repukes can have their children/grandchildren supporting our troops by BEING our troops. I love it! I think we should do it nationwide.

Anyone in? :bounce:

10. Interesting that they didn't have the cajones to put it out during the
...election, but put it up now. It seems like the Bushites fear being associated with someone who might lose, so they wait till afterwards to show who they supported. Fits right in with my assessment of them -- COWARDS. Terrified of what others think of them & unable to think or take a stand for themselves.

If they didn't piss me off so badly I'd feel sorry for them.

One of my husband's business clients recently dropped off some papers and told me I'd better take them off or risk being labeled "one of those liberals". Told him I'm leaving them right were they are so I'll have more credibility when I add the "Don't blame me ... I voted for Kerry" sticker.

20. We live in a nice, quiet suburban neighborhood...
...where any display of political partisanship would be considered controversial. "Controversy" = rude. Despite that, most of my neighbors belong to three of the bigger "God is a Republican" churches in town.

Lo and behold, my neighbor across the street -- a union firefighter, by the way -- puts those oval "W'04" stickers on his Ford F-250 pickup truck and Chevy Suburban on November 3rd!

I walk over to him a couple of days later and say, "Hey, Don! I didn't know you were a Bush man during the election."

He assures me that, yes, all along he's been a big Bush supporter -- could be true, the high point of his year was going to a Toby Keith concert -- and he regrets he wasn't able to put up his stickers earlier because so many people were Bush supporters there were none to be had in a 100-mile radius.

Chicken-shit liar.

the ones who put up (and I take it as an example only, cuz I experienced it and its Bush's state) Cowboys flags on their cars AFTER they win the Super Bowl. See it all the time. Those type are the first to jump ship when "the team" hits rough spots - and they see politics as a sporting event - not as a serious examination of policy and fundamental beliefs.

Almost all the bumper stickers came down here in Northeast Ohio immediately after the election; those that remained were balanced about equally between Kerry and Bush. But over the past week or two it has seemed to me that there has been an upsurge of Bush bumper stickers. And I know for a fact that some yards along my daily drive sprouted Bush/Cheney signs AFTER the election. It has made me speculate about the nature of people who behave in this way.

I think it might be related to why the exit polls were flawed, a lot of people were afraid to admit they cared so little for America that they would vote bush. Now that he's elected there's no fear due to the gang mentality factor.

...see you at Guantanimo Bay.

Naw, I would never do that...and I suggest you don't either, yet. But a PBB (poop bag bomb) would not be a bad idea.

down for that matter. sorry. bad humor on my part. my point was just i don't care if some neocon's house burns down as long as the dog didn't get hurt.

Perhaps it was those Clear Channel billboards that inspired them ...

GEEEZ .... the fucking HERO worship is SO undeserved ... I could see if he actually DID something useful ... but CMON !...

It's like how the Soviet Union would plaster portraits of Stalin in every available niche ....

Hmmmm ... Didnt the 'Great Leader' of 1984 also have his mug plastered on every surface ? ... The GOP are getting nutsier and nutsier ...

With anti-Bush armbands. We only have one freakishly Republican abberation in the family, but nonetheless, we thought we would give him a little kick in the rump anyway.

Edited on Thu Nov-25-04 05:27 AM by Piperay
put up an 'arnie' sign the day AFTER the Governor Recall here but at least that wasn't almost a month later. Rethugs are nuts, I have seen more chimp bumperstickers here in Los Angeles AFTER the election than I did before. :wtf:

72. My Bible Thumping Neighbour...
They're nice folks and all..but they think they're so "above" us..they have the "We Support The 10 Commandments" sign in their front yard..(Have any of you seen these things?)...so we've still got our Kerry/Edwards sign out there to "balance-out" this side of the street...

"No retreat baby,...NO SURRENDER!!"

74. they support the 10 commandments?
even the pesky "Thou shalt not kill"?
Maybe they have a newer version of the commandments than I do. Has God burned another bush and amended that one to read "Thou shalt not kill the unborn, but heck, ragheads are fair game because they don't worship me anyhow"?

Ignore it. Don't worry about it. Let it go.

So what if your repuke neighbors have a sign? Why get worked up over a silly, stupid sign.
