Americans should look to Ukraine for next move...
We have become such lard asses. We sit here on these forums, risking only our eyesight, whining about what is wrong w/ our country and do nothing. Are we all waiting for some magical leader to show us the way? Where are the protesters in our streets? I'm no better than anyone else. I'm afraid of what the most powerful country in the world has become with THIS particular brand of criminal in charge!

1. I would have enjoyed seeing the Ukrainians arrest Lugar.
For fomenting a Civil War in the Ukraine. Reverse this, how long would have a Ukrainian official lasted if they had commented on problems in Ohio and Florida

Shame on us...

Actually, I have done some things that I could tell you about, but then I'd have to kill ya.

4. I agree....However, the Ukranians had a candidate
who told them to assemble on Election Day and never let up. He has called for a general strike, civil disobedience, and has declared victory. If Kerry did all of that, then I am sure that the streets of New York, Washington, LA, and San Francisco would look somewhat similar.

5. You might be right, however, I fear apathy and complacence
is the order of the day in the U.S. People just can't be bothered. After all think of all those post-Thanksgiving discount sales. Buy, buy, buy, yeah that's the ticket, that will make me forget about this knawing suspicion inside that my country is slowly being taken over by fundamentalist fascists only interested in lining their own pockets.

Meanwhile, Ukrainians are packing the streets for a 4th night straight in freezing weather, not even thinking about giving up the fight. - K
