What should I do with my bumper stickers?
Here's the situation: I went out to start my car and get ready to go to school one morning last week, and my car was nearly frozen solid and my bumper was iced over. In the afternoon, it had thawed out and I thought I should take off my K/E sticker and make room for something else (maybe one of those "Don't Blame Me... ones), however, the sticker appeared to have been sort of "permafrosted" to the bumper and I would need a chisel to get it off before the winter's over. So I left it on. It's still there because of some combination of laziness and wishfulness. Many of my friends give the standard "whyzat still up there?" response, but some left their stickers on too. What do you guys think? Should I wait until spring and chip it off, or should I just leave it on for the next four years and put the next Dem/Dem '08 sticker on top of it?

3. Mine are staying on for now.
That could change in a few weeks. For now, I'm proud of the position I took.

24. There is an old car or truck
(I can't remember which) driving around SE Texas with a *Dukakis* sticker on it. And just Dukakis- not even one with Dukakis/Bentsen after he'd been picked for Veep. Obviously the sticker got more notice from me than the type of vehicle! :hi:

2. I have a faith-based bumper.
When God wants my Kerry-Edwards stickers off, he'll take them off. :)

5. hehe
It's the moral thing to do... even though Kerry failed, gave up early and still has a TON of our money. It's just killing the Bushies to see all the Kerry stickers remaining!!!

8. Kerry didn't fail, he hasn't given up and the money is being used
to pay lawyers to contest the election.

Johnny K won the election, it was stolen and The People have failed because they have not demanded that the votes actually be counted or that busholini PROVE HE WON which he cannot do because the black boxes cannot be audited. It is no more John Kerry's responsibility than it is each citizen's to demand a fraud free election.

As I have said in other post... I have done my part. I have done things, in protest, that I could tell you about.... but then I'd have to kill ya.

19. And 2006 candidates
Don't forget them. It has already been said that's where he will give the money.

First I'm told he's putting money aside for recounts and lawyers (after 2000, why would that be a problem, and yes, I'm talking to you Maureen Dowd). Then I'm told he's squirreling away for the 2008 election. Well, which is it then? Or perhaps he's not done paying the bills that will likely still roll in during the next month or two.

I still think bringing that up so soon after the election was that Braille (sp?) person just shooting her mouth off. Dang, give the man a minute. This election isn't even fully over yet.

13. I don't think the day's too far off when they'll be looking
at my bumper wistfully instead of angrily.
* will provide the foul-ups. I have faith in that.

4. Leave it on. Let people know the pending train wreck isn't your doing.
I still see lots of Kerry stickers and lawn signs. I took my sticker off because seeing on my car it sort of depressed me, but I immediately replaced it with a "Don't Blame Me, I Worked For Kerry" sticker.

20. I want one of those.
Retro hippie liberal nostalgia. If I had enough hair I would also grow it out.

Oh for the good old days.

Thanks I needed that.

21. Took him almost 5 years to find one.
And he has been almost as many years in its restoration. (and he guesses that he is still two years away from repainting it)

If I were to get one, it would be a '71. First year with disk brakes, and a bunch of other improvements, last year of the traditional engine (later ones had "type 4" motors that are a headache waiting to happen).

2006 (unless he runs in 2006, then I'l keep it).
I saw someone the other day with a Gore/Lieberman sticker AND a Kerry/Edwards sticker. :(

26. Leave it there...
until the end of time. (Which may not be that far off)
When this country starts heading south in that even the
most die-hard Bushies can't spin, put another one right
next to it that says simply "What's in your mirror?"

Then, buy one of those cheesy battery operated blinking
light kits and frame both of them, so they can't be ignored.

30. Switched cars, moved the stickers
My old car died, my 16 yr old carefully removed the stickers and they're going back on the car and things at work. I took my round K/E sticker off my purse when Kerry conceded out of distress of this, but it's back on also. And, I finally found an enameled flag pin to wear (upside down of course).
