8. I'll ask Martin if he is interested...
I work on the Warner Bros. lot and they shoot West Wing right next to the building I work in. I walk past the "White House" everyday.

I'll see if he's interested.

2. Sheen vs Schwarzenegger
The Republicans seem to have no qualms about running actors for president

3. He's our vicarious President. Let's us think we're OK & keep *
I just realized this tonight when I was watching West Wing. I'm sure some people out there actually think this is what it's like. Since things work out on TV, the think that they will in real life.

Martin Sheen performs a vital function in the process of mass denial.

4. Could he be the one to unseat the Governator?
I keep thinking it's got to be Martin Sheen or Harrison Ford rising to the occasion, or else Ahnold will stay in power indefinitely.

7. If we were to run an actor for any upcoming position...
The media and the Republicans will get their usual amnesia, forget they were in bed with Arnold, and blast the Democrats for running a 'Hollywood elitist.'

11. he long ago said NO
When "The West Wing" started, he said he could never be president, because he is a pacifist, and that he knows pacifism is impossible for the duties and requirements of office.

I love bursting DU fantasy bubbles.
