Ukraine is not an accident.
That's all I'm saying.

1. Why not tell us more?
Let me guess. Does Ukraine have a lot of oil too? I don't even know where it is exactly. Have to look it up.

think about russia. Think about oil pipelines.

and if you look at a map of the region, you might realize why Poland is TOPS in bush's book.

4. voting
Colin Powell was objecting to the elections there. It was hilarious.

5. Link to a map

Perry Castaneda Library has the BEST resources. I remember when it was all 'visit in person.' Now they have it online. Fantastic collection.

2. I look at the comments by bush about it
"ukraine must get right in terms of democracy"
"ukraine must uncover voter fraud"
etc. etc.

It;s like bush is just BEGGING for people to uncover his election fraud. Criminals always return to the scene of the crime. Always. Like serial killers -- they really want to be caught. I think bush does as well.

7. No, it's not.
I honestly believe the Ukrainian incumbent saw the U.S. election as a green light. "If they can manipulate the results with no international attention or accountability so can we."

Apparently, they don't understand the American singularity. Denial and willful ignorance so intense not even irony can escape.

8. ya know, if the rethugs here are in a lather, calling fraud there
I'm more inclined to believe there wasn't any.

Or that the rethugs tried to help steal that one and it didn't work* so now it's screaming time

* hey, maybe the winner's party realized it was being stolen so they did one better and stole it back. And that's why the rethugs are screaming. All that hard work stealing Ukraine's election and they were beatened back by better crooks. Hey, the Dems need to get lessons from those winners in Ukraine.

9. It's really very simple

The incumbant is Putin's puppet.

The Russians are trying to climb back to super power status, and are reasserting themselves in the independent states that were once a part of their empire. This has both military, and economic implications.

The challenger is Bush's puppet.

The US is trying to make The Ukraine - as it has done in Poland and Uzbekistan - into a US economic and military client state. This is as much an attempt to limit Russian power, as it is to increase our own.

The Ukrainian people are going to lose either way.

...were doing everything they could to get rid of Chavez.
