Republicans prove they have no problem continuing to fight when they lose
Democrats on the other hand act like there is something so unseemly about fighting, scrapping, pulling hair and kicking in the balls if we have to win. The Repubs all ganged up on a story this last Friday that a teacher was suspended for teaching the Constitution. A story they know full well is false. Yet we have a legit complaint and I don't see anybody going on any where to fight for this guy.

State Rep. Talmadge Heflin asked the state House of Representatives today to overturn the results of his failed re-election bid and either order him returned to the Legislature or call for a new election.

Heflin's attorney, Andy Taylor, said the election results in state House District 149 in southwest Harris County were fraught with voting irregularities and potential fraud, most of which occurred in predominantly Democratic precincts.

"The true outcome of this election was stolen from the voters in House District 149," Taylor said Tuesday. "We will prove that Representative Talmadge Heflin was re-elected."

Heflin, a Republican member of the House since 1983 and chairman of its Appropriations Committee, lost to Democratic businessman Hubert Vo by 32 votes earlier this month. But Heflin's campaign alleges that those election results include at least 248 irregularities that could have altered the outcome.

1. Democrats wanted Kerry to fight after the election.
Kerry's attorneys wanted to fight after the election.

But Kerry didn't want to be labelled a sore loser.

3. And that's part of the problem. Repubs don't give a shit what you call
them. They can call you names back with ease. Their end goal is to win and doing whatever is necessary to do that. We don't have leaders that want to that. No other leaders were or would go out and support Kerry in a concentrated effort.

2. I keep hearing Heflin's attorney on the radio screaming
Blantant voting issues....etc. OK, here's my question - When a dem has concerns about voting issues, no one listens, they are a nutjob...But when a repuke has the same issue, we should look into it right away.

I swear, I'm almost ready to find a blue state to move to and get the hell outta Texas. I hate cold weather though. Any blue states with decent weather??

5. Can the school sue for libel or slander?
My father said as much this morning. He said that the Dems won't fight dirty. That's why they keep losing elections.

6. The worst that could happen if we scream ......
..... is that their screaming would get lost in a constant din.

We need Luca Brazza.

You're right, Dems fear fighting. I want dems who go for the jugular. Who will kick a repub in the balls, on live TV. I want dems who use switchblades and chains. I want dems with ducktail haircuts, a pack of Luckies rolled up in their t-shirt sleeves, and who know how to use a broken fence post to hit heads.

I want dems who will use bazookas to kill flies. I want blood in the political streets - *their* blood.
