Fox: "Kerry Won't Go Gently Into Good Night"
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,139564,00.html

WASHINGTON — John Kerry (search) was not able to break the frustrating record of senators failing to get elected president, but that doesn't mean he's going to fade into history or even give up on his dream of higher office.

Aside from the brief respite of Thanksgiving, the Massachusetts senator was quick to return to work after more than a year of grueling campaigning and one of the nastiest presidential races in modern times.

His Democratic colleagues in both the Senate and in the House appear happy to have him back and in a visible role, as they also are thinking about the party's future and how to move this losing political family forward.

"Every time his name was mentioned, there was enthusiastic applause," said newly named Senate Democratic Caucus Secretary Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., referring to Kerry's appearance on Capitol Hill Nov. 16. "He has a lot to be proud of, and I hope he'll find what I did — that it was great to have the U.S Senate to come back to," said Sen. Joe Lieberman, who lost a vice presidential bid when he ran with Al Gore in 2000.

3. Waiting for him to do something about the
voting machines....that's what I am waiting for.

A bill on Insured Children is fine....but I think the Machines should come first.

5. I agree with you, FrenchieCat
Providing voting integrity is an extremely important issue, because it is fundamental to representative government.

4. We have nominated great people for president - and we should
not be ashamed of them or let the RW turn them into a joke. Gore has been treated miserably since he beat AWOL and the same fate should not await JK. Both of these men are incredibly accomplished and we need them to stay involved. I would love either one to be the nominee in 2008.

7. I feel bad for Gore.
I think he was a man of great integrity who managed to get turned into a laughingstock on the campaign trail by the RW'ers. At least Kerry managed to (mostly) escape that fate. I mean, even *I* thought Gore was kind of a stick --- and I voted for him.

10. For some reason Rush was talking about similar things
About Kerry being raring to go (gee, that story was up a couple of weeks ago, nice rapid response there, Rush), and about post election selection stress syndrome.

So there's been another suicide, and the note identified Kerry's loss as one of the reasons. Plus psychiatrists are seeing alot of Kerry supporters, whom they say they are trying to help accept the "truth." (we'll see about that "truth" -- after the anaugaration, THEN I'll accept it.)

And then he said something like "Well, gee, I offered to counsel Democrats about the election." Rush, you ass, that would be like going to Bin Laden for post-9/11 stress syndrome!!

He was about two inches from making fun of these people. It's not funny. It's not funny at all. Real people with real problems are wandering around like somebody died, and these people can't even acknowledge that they might not be just a bunch of "liberal loonies" who need to "get over it."

I don't know why I would expect otherwise.

Yeah, we all thought "hope was on the way." If nothing comes of the election recounts and such, then I'm glad Kerry is somewhere where he can have an influence and get in the Bush Administration's way as much as possible.

Meanwhile, I'm staying awake and watching these people like a hawk. Thank goodness for the organizing power of DU. We saw what we could do with Sinclair. We have power too. Don't forget that.

9. Seems they're just trying to reinforce Kerry's "Senator" image...
while totally ignoring the re-count and Election Fraud issues still looming...which could STILL make him "President" Kerry.

As always, Fox is truly 'Faux.'
Sorry, I'm not QUITE ready to give up yet! Here, let me change that channel to Keith O. Yes! Fair and TRULY Balanced!:)
