1. Amen to that!
If Dennis Miller can do Monday Night Football, then Jon Stewart can do CBS News.

Hopefully CBS will not get a right leaning man though. But I don't think they will.

3. At first glance a good idea
But something our local Conservative radio guy said made sense (imagine that.) When he asked who should replace Rather, one of the answers that came back was, "You should, Mark!"

His comment was that he couldn't be himself and do what he does if he was constrained to a job like that.

I would suggest the same would happen to Jon Stewart. He has freedom where he is. We need him exactly where he is right now.

and report the same tabloid horseshit, RNC talking points, and blatantly lie by omission. Turn it OFF. Starve the beast by depriving advertisers of an audience.

Get your news online and preferably offshore. That's the only place you'll find anything approaching the truth.
