2. Violent revolution is messy, uncomfortable, and rarely works
All it does is force the men behind the scenes to change uniforms if it's successful, which it generally is not.

Passive resistance and civil disobedience are the keys, especially in a country this size. Fascists always overreact, and when they do, we win.

Speak out. Starve the beast.

8. Not gasoline
Think about the vehicles you saw/see with Bush/Cheney stickers on them. They are all either big gas guzzling SUVs or pieces of crap with fish symbols on them that probably haven't been tuned up in the last 50,000 miles. Boycotting gas just leaves more for them.

15. Gas would never work
People are too dependant on it. There were several attempts to
just this very thing in the near past that never came to pass.

What we need are live bodys in Washington DC on Jan 20th to
protest the crowning of the King.

Lets do it!

16. hit them where it hurts
Protesting the coronation is great. I'll do it, but on Jan. 21 Dumbya's dumb butt is back on the throne like we never happened. There has to be a way to hit them where it hurts.

3. There is always the
Ghandi/King method of what I would call rEvolution. The word is open, but change is certainly in the air, one way or another.

6. Revolution
Revolution carries with it the connotation that everything will be changed. I didn't vote for it. We had a good system that more or less worked for 224 years. What changed was a series of events: Monica's mouth, the 2000 Florida election fiasco (blame for which lies with the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections, Ralph Nader and the Supreme Court), 9/11 (due to Bush's incompetence or worse, his hope that a terrorist attack would somehow remove the taint of how he took office)and the nation's anger after 9/11-which the neo-cons took ruthless advantage of.

What we need is more like a Restoration, where we drive the usurpers out and restore our lawfully elected leaders to power.

If the 2004 election fraud cannot be laid at Bush's doorstep in a way that brings his Administration down, then there should be a Democratic candidate for EVERY U.S. legislative seat in 2006, each of whom solemnly vows to vote to impeach Bush and all his appointees, including judges. This, coupled with a nationwide vote insurance program whereby every democratic voter would execute an affidavit stating how they cast their ballot, can restore the country to sanity.

Furthermore, no one should cooperate with any pre-election polling in the future. It is not a coincidence that the Republicans knew how many votes they needed to steal to carry Florida and Ohio. Keep the SOBs guessing in the future.

12. Reformation is a better word.
And it begins with a rally in washington DC where we protest
the crowning of King Bush.We can reform this nation to meet
the needs of everyone. (well almost everyone)

Are you with me? Lets get something started.

9. In 4 years
I suspect you'll get your chance and it won't requite any bloodshed. Take a careful look at the long term economic outlook for the US, read some articles about the US Dollar and the current account deficit. Within the next 5 years it is quite possible the US could suffer an economic collapse. If it happens inside 4, you can be quite certain that the Republicans will be fighting a losing battle at the next election. If it happens very soon you could be facing a depression akin to 1929, and if that isn't enough to rouse ordinary Americans, I don't know what would be.
