Here are the total numbers and the total for Kerry and the cadidates people voted for, who voted against Bush's being elected!

All totaled, less than a 2% margin of the total votes cast, voted more for Bush. Hardly a Mandate!

again, you know what drove Nebraska out of the Democratic Party and into the Republican Party? The Civil Rights Act and the Equal Rights Amendment. Check it out, you'll find that what I'm saying is true. This state voted heavy for Kennedy, but when the idea of equal rights for everyone came out, these people here ran for the republicans and never changed. Never will.

I was born here. I always wanted to leave. I did a couple of times, once to Wyoming when I was young, once to Alaska during my first marriage. I never wanted to leave there. I don't suppose it's like I remember it, but it sure as hell has to be a damn sight better than here.
