Did Michael Moore get a memo that I didn't?
He was pitiful on Leno tonight. I don't mean that he got a haircut and was wearing a real bad suit. He did every but grovel as Leno rubbed his nose in the defeat. Very sad.

19. mike's hardly a common man
Come on folks, Mike hasn't worked for a living in years. Showing up a few rallys isn't work..... Now, if he actually worked in a mill I'd have a bit more respect.

He's just hollywood and we all know it, especially hard-working union folks.

6. And how much work did YOU do over the last four years?
This man has worked like a dog and was responsible for mobilizing many thousands of people to vote. WTF did you do?

10. I saw him on CSpan in CA, one of his last rallies. The man was obviously
ill, but he kept on plugging away.

He has been criticized for not being out there now. It took me two weeks before I even wanted to go to the grocery store, and I did not have pneumonia.

I think he went above and beyond. He will always have my respect for the job he did during the election.

8. Huh?
Now, I'm not one of these people who would cannonize Michael Moore, and admittedly, I did not see last night's performance, but come on. Get a freaking grip. "He's not one of us"?

Yeah, I guess that whole F9/11 thing was just a scam, huh?

5. That's what I meant by the memo.
The whole show was very surreal. Like he was reading a script that someone else wrote.

9. I loved his comment
about the ME factor.. Only Jay and I are going to reap from this president's tax cuts.. double insurance ect.

Basically plainly insulting those idiots who voted for bush.. you shot yourself in the foot. Implying those who voted reps way have no moral values: they have selfish tendencies

12. if you look at his sight
he hasn't changed his opinion at all.. he's taken every chance to slam the administration.

there is a motivation for everything he does, subtle yet with intent

18. Bush did get more votes
even if he stole Ohio the south was more than enough to give him a popular vote victory. Kerry's only shot is the electoral vote, unlike four years ago when Gore won both the popular vote and electoral only to have Florida stolen.

what do you disagree with? And FYI, Jay Leno openly supported Kerry, and admitted he is liberal.

14. MM has to say something
Bush got more votes is not a statement that Bush won the election fair and square. Of course MM wants to fatten his wallet, but, he also worked his butt off for this election. Personnally, I think we all need to work on fattening our wallets enough to survive the collapse of the American economy!

F911 did not change that many minds. In fact, I imageine those that went to see it wre already convinced B needed to go, jus as I was already convinced. Don't you realize, the vast majority of people who voted for Bush never did ANY research about him? If they had they wouldn't come up with such simple minded reasons for voting for him. the real reson these people voted for him is they are waiting for the sky to fall and bring them rapture. they have no hope, and they are suicidal!

MM is working on sequel, hopefully he will use FACT only to support his veiws. I've said many times before, you didn't have to listen to a single word of commentary in F911 to pull out the FACTS. What the administration said was all a person really needed to know to condemn them as self-serving, elitist, liars! I hope the sequel addresses all the anti-American laws that have the Republican stamp of approval on them. And that would include those that are really very anti-religion!

15. I think Mike just cleaned himself up a bit...
...even Pigboy Limbaugh wears a shirt and tie to work.

I'll always respect and admire Mike Moore for his work to expose ignorance, corruption, and lies, especially on the wingnut right. I respect him for having the fortitude to make Fahrenheit 9/11, even in the face of frothing adversity from the media and the pundits (which consequently caused it to get more publicity). The man is a genius.

16. Moore was putting on Keillor's "We're all Republicans, now." act and
glorying in all the money he made last year off Bush's taxcuts for the wealthy.

You either get it or you don't.
