Ronald Reagan: RELOADED
I imagine many of you have heard about the new "video game" that allows you to step into the role of Lee Harvey Oswald and take shots at one of the twentieth century's greatest Democratic presidents from a book depository.

If not, here's a link to an editorial about it: http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/headline/features/2921907.

But here's what I want to know: What if a video game company created a video game that let you play the role of John Hinkley? What if they awarded you points for taking out Reagan and his secret service contingent, awarding you points for a job well done? Maybe even a nice little love scene with Jodie Foster in the end. Would the freeps think THAT was a cool game, or would they be a little more outraged?

2. I wondered about the same thing when Kennedy Reloaded came out
I'm no fan of Reagan, but personally, I would find a game depicting the attempted assassination of Reagan from Hinckley's POV disturbing and in bad taste, much as I saw Kennedy Reloaded. I try not to have a partisan double standard on that, although I admit that the latter idea probably renders a more powerful visceral reaction due to my affiliation.

4. I liked Bob Harris' poll on the game
What's the worst thing about the new JFK assassination simulation game?

Every time you win, you get shot to death by Jack Ruby 368 40.8%

No multi-player mode, unlike the real version 351 39%

High scorer lists are immediately classified for some reason 96 10.7%

Cursor keeps going back and to the left when it shouldn't 86 9.5%
