I only became politicized during *'s reign but I've done my reading. Now, where I used to think History and Discovery channel type shows about this weapon and that gun were cool I can't take them. For instance, the ultimate freeper whack-off show "Mail Call" was on recently and I viewed a minute of it. The host was getting off about this great gun that lunched exploding bullets over it's victims. All I could think of were Iraqi civilians. I know the weapons could be used for legitimate (defense) reasons also but I guess right now I don't see us like that. I see us as an imperial power. Thoughts?

1. I think
that footage of the effects of these toys should be mandatory. Nothing like a decapitated child to put a damper on weapons-induced erections in Freeperland.

2. I can barely watch the History channel and Discovery channel since
*'s junta. It's pro-U.S stuff, how evil some dictator we propped up was, and the stuff you mentioned. (History channel). Discovery channel has been turned into a reality show and vegas channel. I remember when programs about the natural world were their primary programming. Now, if I want that I gotta go the Discovery Science, Animal Planet, or National Geographic all favorties of mine. Don't get me started on the Travel channel aka the Vegas channel. Luckly I have History International which is much better.

3. No.
I let news reports of U.S. actions in Iraq and elsewhere do that for me.
