12. Not too funny
I know this is a play on "John Edward" of SciFi, and I don't think you meant to be insensitive, but since John Edwards' oldest son died, I don't think this kind of humor is too funny. (I am sure you didn't mean it to be harsh.)

5. Every time I see Edwards, I think, don't count this guy out.
He's talking about all the attack ads...
Very appealing.

Happy days are here again. Talking about FDR and optimism.

8. I keep thinking he will surprise a lot of people.
Wouldn't it be great if he would do well in Iowa and NH. Maybe he could get a little more national coverage....kinda like what Dean is getting right now.

9. He was great!
Your sig line says it all.

I was so impressed by the way he won those people over. They weren't there in 'rah rah' mode; he actually won them over!

10. If he comes in 3rd or 4th in Iowa and New Hampshire, then
first in South Carolina, I think he will get more attention, especially if the winner in Iowa does not also win New Hampshire (e.g., if Gephardt wins Iowa and Dean wins New Hampshire). That may give him enough momentum, media attention and new funding to make a greater charge.

I just like the guy. I think he has great ideas and is a thoroughly decent human being. That alone gives him 2 tremendous advantages over *.

13. Edwards
is a very sharp fellow. He has some wonderful anti-Bush soundbites and his policy positions on many issues are the best in the campaign. I don't know why he hasn't caught fire. I think many people believe that he's much younger than he actually is. He's to junior to Kerry to win over the Congressional delegates and Dean grapped the "outsider" position early so it's all about timing.
