1. WTF polls like these accomplish nothing unless they are in the lounge.
OK we all get it. WE all hate or should hate the DLC.
There's nothing to see here. Why keep beating this horse over and over and over again.

2. I tend to agree, those folks are defensive enough without
us being downright mean. I've been called out BUT it's time for us all to take a step back and at least listen to non-abusive viewpoints by some DLCers. If they choose to be inclusive and team oriented we might reach a compromise.

If they don't default to labeling many of us "greens" or "leftists" I'm willing to listen to their viewpoints with an open mind.

8. I don't understand what you're saying honestly I think it is the Anti-DLC
people here @ DU that are most aggressive and mean spirited. I post to stop the arguing and focus on better issues and I get slammed for no reason. I'm starting to think there are ulterior motives for the whole argument all together.

People like me who don't think that it should be US fighting that battle think all of this purging discussion here is worthless.
Why? There's almost nothing 99.9% of us here @ DU can do about it.

So why not use our energy to push the Vote Fraud and Voter Intimidation and Suppression issues. Why use our energy to mame, destroy and hurt one another.

Personally I could have given a royal shit about the DLC issue. Now, I could barley give a shit about the Democratic party in general. I hate us ripping each other more than I hate the Rethugs and NeoCons.

3. For those who might have
missed all the other posts about the DLC and their total lack of leadership.

4. There is no reason not to support the DLC.
That's basically what this post says. That in order to think up a reason not to, you have to make up stupid shit.

6. After seeing a couple of their (DLCs) representatives on CSPAN
over the past week, there ARE some points of contention to say the least.

I'm not far leftist, but an individual who knows how right wingers think because I was raised around RW Libertarians. The worst thing you can do is show ANY weaknesses.

Bank on it: Frist will axe the Filibuster at the earliest opportunity because RWers LUST for money and power.

7. Right, but this post says completely the opposite.
It says that any objections to the DLC are purely folkloric and based on exaggeration and hyperbole.

10. You have a point ... but even when my red neck brothers
trashed me, teased me, and tickled me for sport until I'd pee my pants, I'd still looked them in the eye and said that "That I (a girl) was as tough as they were."

What some folks don't appreciate is that the RW RESPECTS defiance. They have NO respect for "roll-overs." No joke, if you FIGHT them, you'll achieve more than if you kiss-up.

It takes more resolve and personal integrity, but if you're straight, some moderate republicans who are still open to sane arguments just may support you.

9. The DLC should be disbanded, or change.
