Time or Newsweek...Bush or Obama
I know which year-end news magazine I'll be picking up...

http://msnbc.msn.com/id/6733585/site/newsweek/

excerpt:

"One party seems to be defending a moribund status quo, and the other is defending an oligarchy," he says coolly. "It's not a very attractive choice." Obama's a Blue State Democrat, all right, and by most standards a liberal one.

1. I guess Newsweek really is better than Time.
I feel bad that I messed the opportunity to see him when he was out here campaigning for Ken Salazar.

4. Love the cover

I may have to start getting newsweek.

Actually a clever move by Newsweek. They know the time cover of Bush will be offensive to many so they counter with Obama.

5. Yup.
And it's going to work on me.

(Well, there's no question whose face I'd rather have on my coffee table!)

6. Well, I know which mag subscription to keep
now and which one to get rid of.

I was going to get rid of both of them.

8. "a bridge"
Obama's a Blue State Democrat, all right, and by most standards a liberal one. But Illinois Rep. Rahm Emanuel, an architect of President Clinton's "Third Way" approach, sees him as a bridge from the left to the center of the spectrum: "Not just a phenomenal writer—he wrote that convention speech himself—but incredibly pragmatic."

9. Dub is "person of the year" ?????? That's the most
nauseating thing I ever heard!!!!!!!!!

Time magazine has truly shown itself for what it really is... a pandering, fawning megaphone for the liberal right...

I think a letter to the editor is definitely in order
