Harry Reid is so much better than Daschle

Whenever Daschle talked I fucking cringed. I knew he wasn't going over well. He doesn't talk like a normal fuckin' person. That's our fuckin' problem - our 'leaders' lost access to the common vernacular. They speak in five point plans, with puny voices.

I remember Daschle and Pelosi giving their joint response to one of Bush's SOTUs. I remember Daschle calling Pelosi 'leader Pelosi' - it sounded odd - especially coupled with that wierd neutered look he always had on his face - or a look like he'd just pissed on the carpet - something was funny - it was just fuckin' odd. I cringed as usual.

Reid at least talks like a normal person, knows how to tell a story.

he did one helluva fillibuster type coupe on the Repukes last year for hours upon hours, he talked, read from his book about his childhood in a mining town ...went on and on. I like that about him.

he helped author the rider that spelled death to the wild horses-- he's a bastard

on "Meet the Press" earlier this month. That was the first time I've ever heard him and he did great! He should go up on some of these people on Fox.

I want my minority leader to come from a safe blue state. I think picking a red-stater who's going to be constantly watching his back was a mistake. Still, I'll reserve judgment and hope Mr. Reid proves me wrong.

He colluded with that crook Conrad Burns of Nevada to sneak a rider into a House omnibus bill that would enable the wild horses to be slaughtered. In my book, that's execrable.

in the House together on the issues and voting as a bloc. She's much, much better than Gephardt. I wish we had a leader like her in the Senate!
