Fox "Breaking News"...Bush press conference at 10:30 AM EST
Nothing on the subject.

Congratulating himself on winning Time's "Person of the Year?"

Commenting on the Iraqi death toll this weekend, reminding the terrorists that they can run but they can't hide, we will smoke them out of their caves, terra terra, terra?

Kerik's replacement?

Who knows...but these days, no news from Junior is good news, and he has news.

11. Calling him on his SS bullsh*t? Please. our Dem "leadership" won't,
why would the MSM steno pool?

Real good time for the Dems to take the month off. Bush is actually working this holiday season. The lazy prick is actually on the job.

Our team? Well, we might get around to electing a DNC chair in Feb.

3. Do the reporters get to ask more than one question this time?
Or does he still have a mandate?

6. I'm waiting for the question that will make him storm off stage...
...like the spoiled little mama's boy he is. He's about due for a temper tantrum, especially in light of that "Time" cover.

Part of Junior's psychosis is that on a regular basis he needs to remind us all of what a petulant, spoiled, rotten little bastard he is. I'm guessing we are either going to get:

1). Plenty of smirking

2). Clipped responses to questions, squinting, stuttering, abrupt exit

3). Confrontational bullying and "one question rule" comments

We shall see...maybe it will be "all of the above."

24. According to the LBN version of this story, there'll be four (4) questions
Two from members of the domestic "press" corps, two from foreigners.

The more things change, the more they suck.

when no questions are allowed?

5. With real "press"?
I doubt it.

I really wish one or two of the reporters would ask real probing questions regardless of consequences.

7. Perhaps the madman will delcare
how he (he alone, mind you) will bring peace to the Middle East:

GEORGE Bush yesterday sought to further shore up his place in history with his strongest pledge yet to bring peace to the Middle East.

The United States president said he was "convinced" he would solve the century-old Israeli-Palestinian conflict during his second term in office.
-snip-

"I want you to know that I am going to invest a lot of time and a lot of creative thinking so that there will finally be peace between Israel and the Palestinians," Mr Bush said in an interview with the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Aharonoth.

"I am convinced that, during this term, I will manage to bring peace," he said.

12. Perhaps announcing in some fashion or another the beginning of his reign
of chains and terror here in these United States... as in, "...no more freedom of the press, no more right to dissent, amerikans are now subject to my will.." whatever it is, i am willing to bet that it is something that will show up his POWER AND CONTROL FREAKNESS.

13. This Just Keeps Getting Better & Better: The Turkey Shoot
Edited on Mon Dec-20-04 09:45 AM by clapton
Remember Allen Dulles & Edward Lansdale? Both old CIA hands and Dogs of War. What was Major General Lansdale doing in Dallas on November 22, 1963?

Bush's stupidity will be his downfall.

He keeps making the same mistakes as his predecessors? Can't this President read while making history? I guess not...

After the Bag of Pigs fiasco, JFK fired DCI Allen Dulles which indirectly misplaced Lansdales dreams of returning back to the bossom of the Far East with his $$$ billions in covert funds collected after WWII sitting multiple Swiss Bank accounts waiting for something to do, rotting.

NSAM263 issued in Oct 1963 turns back the tide on the Vietnam vision & US commitment.

Enough motive to plan for Dealey Plaza?

Bush: "Man of the Year" at home...

Abroad?? "Idiot of the Year" ...

I believe the G7 are running out of patience with this turkey -- especially with China & the Far East's economic dominance lately. What would the world be like if it was run by the Far East culture for lets say, ... the next 1,000 years?

You can't remain a World SuperPower by being a herder on a goat farm, cira 2030.

Get ready for some serious TV coming soon.

15. If he allows anyone to actually ask a question
I imagine the first feww will be about Rumsfeld. His answer will be that he has complete confidence in Rumsfeld.

Then someone will ask him whether the Iraqi elections will still go on as planned given all the violence. Bush will reply that we will stay the course and the freedom-loving people of Iraq will triumph.

Then someone will ask how he intends to pay for his plan to privatize Social Security. Bush will respond that he categorically rejects any tax increase.

End of press conference. Thank you all for coming.

There. That was easy.

16. Announcing that his "inauguration"
is now officially a "coronation" that will take place inside the National Cathedral with Pat Robertson presiding, and that henceforth he is to be addressed as His Royal Highness King George I. The White House has been renamed Bushingham Palace, and henceforth King George will only emerge to make official proclamations such as "I have ordered my armies to invade Iran." An order of succession to the throne has been established so that younger brother John Ellis aka "Jeb" is next in line. The press has been renamed "The King's Courtiers" and the King's close advisor and confidant Sir Karl Rove will continue to control the "information" provided to the masses, or "serfs" as Americans earning less than $200,000 a year will now be called. Americans will be required to pay their taxes directly to the King who will set aside a portion to go to fundamentalist Christian charities. All schools will be required to provide one a hour a day of "Love of Homeland and Fealty to the King" instruction along with one hour of "George is my earthly King but Jesus is my heavenly father" Christian theology. The question of penalties for those who would dare question the King's authority are still being discussed, but the Karla Faye Tucker facility for dissenters is under consideration at this time. Watch what you say, and have a "wonderful starts with w" day.

innocent Iraqis!!!!! And he basically answered the question on why we are doing so poorly there that it was the Iraqis' fault. That there were mixed results, that the Iraqi army deserted in some cases, which was unacceptable, and on and on. It's OUR fucking responsibility you idiot, not their's!!
