Yup,
That would be the same Time Magazine. I have been subscribing to Time for the past few years. I'm really going to enjoy my Trumpesque moment

3. Nope.
In 2001, they picked Rudy Gulianni as a "safe" pick.
It's not about who is newsworthy anymore.
TIME is full of crap.

www.time.com/time/poy2001/

They thought about naming bin Laden, becuase he was the person who affected the world the most in 2001, but TIME decided to go with the "safe" pick of Rudy.

On Edit: I seem to recall bin Laden on the cover of TIME as well, but it wasn't for POTY.

6. The did have Hitler....
As someone who's actions had the most influence on the world in his time. They did, they did. Maybe that's why they chose Bush.....

7. Probably.
I could've swore they put bin Laden on the cover for "person of the year". I searched the site and some covers with bin Laden on them turned up but not for POTY.

:tinfoilhat: = They probably did put him on the cover POTY but we were later "debriefed" in our sleep.
