Bible is clear on homosexuality

To the editor:

I'm writing in regards to the bashing of Jerry Kilgore vs. Tim Kaine in the debate by our state officials a few days ago. The criticism was by Mr. Brian Boyce who made it public in a letter to the editor.

His remarks were that he was alarmed, but also deeply ashamed by the ignorance displayed by our state officials. His reasoning was that Mr. Kaine said that homosexuals were born that way and Mr. Kilgore rebuked that statement and said that the people made that choice. I've got news for you, Mr. Kilgore is 100 percent right.

If you want proof, pick up your bible and turn to the Book of Leviticus chapter 18, verse 22. it reads: thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind: it is abomination. Also the Book of Romans chapter I verse 26-28, it reads as such. For this cause, "meaning homosexuality" God gave them up unto vile affections: For even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature, verse 27, and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lost one toward another; men with men, working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet (verse 28). As even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.

I can tell you now, these are not my words, these are God's words. I'd like to ask you, if you believe in the word of God, then why would you believe that God would create something that he despises and say that it's an abomination to Him? I think Mr. Boyce owes Mr. Kilgore an apology.

3. I have heard that Kilgore could break one's gaydar. True?
It seems like the most outspoken public homophobes are usually obvious closet-cases. Think of Lou Sheldon and Gary Bauer (who would be a dead ringer for Truman Capote if only he would put on a scarf and fedora).

4. My God YOU'RE RIGHT!!!
I'd never thought about that. Bauer is a clone of Capote, if you just make those small wardrobe corrections.
