10. I can't laugh. It's too pathetic and disgusting, because it's true
There was a time in America when we admired intelligence, where people who spoke eloquently were respected. Parents worked hard to send their children to college to become educated, to learn about themselves and to learn about the world.

I was just thinking about the "dumbing down of America" while on my hike yesterday. Maybe next election, we'll have an IQ test for the candidates. Anybody who registers over 75 will be disqualified. Perhaps that will satisfy the dumb voters, those who seem to be dragging the rest of us down into their sewer of the lowest common denominator rule.

If you don't think bush supporters are overwhelmingly ignorant, take a trip to free republic. They have substituted brawn for brain and they're proud of it. Being proud of one's ignorance; it can only happen in America with a moron at the helm.

14. It's much easier to be dumb then intelligent.
It's sad when I watch television shows like The West Wing and actually long for a president like Bartlett who is actually intelligent and knowledgeable.

I take a look at sites like Blogs for Bush and Free Republic and I'm just saddened by how ignorant some people can be. It's like, "We don't need brains because we have big, long guns to go and shoot them terrorists!"

I think I watched about 15 seconds of that before I turned it off; I can only listen to or watch so much of Bush before I actually want to throw up.

Does anyone find it ironic that Bush talks about No Child Left Behind when, it's obvious, that he has absolutely no concept or grasp of the English language?

Bush is hilarious with his stupid, goofy face. If only he were a comedian and not a politician.
