Can anyone spot Rummy's latest Mis-speak?
Can you spot the difference?

NGUYEN: We want to go back now to that video that we're just getting in from Donald Rumsfeld's visit to Iraq, a surprise visit, he is at Camp Victory here in Baghdad in this video speaking to soldiers in the mess hall. Let's take a listen.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

DONALD RUMSFELD, SECRETARY OF DEFENSE: And to change that way of living, would strike at the very essence of our country.

And I think all of us have a sense if we imagine the kind of world we would face if the people who bombed the mess hall in Mosul, or the people who did the bombing in Spain, or the people who attacked the United States in New York, shot down the plane over Pennsylvania and attacked the Pentagon, the people who cut off peoples' heads on television to intimidate, to frighten -- indeed the word "terrorized" is just that. Its purpose is to terrorize, to alter behavior, to make people be something other than that which they want to be.

And that is exactly what we cannot allow to happen.

5. Who Cares About NORAD

If this is true that Rummy is pinning the blame on NORAD then how will they back pedal themselves out of the Todd Beamer Hero story and the early admissions that the plane was crashed...not shot down....

I hope that Franken or Randi discuss the hell out of this in the coming days.

6. This is the best news we could hope for.
I'm getting very optimistic about our resident Court Jester, Donald RumsFool. It seems that he's starting to loosen at the edges. He's saying things he shouldn't be saying.

Maybe at his advanced age of 73 the pressure is getting to him. His grandiose ego is probably taking a beating from the failure in Iraq. He's starting to talk. The old crony is feeling like a failure. He's grasping, trying to fix things. Desperately flying to Iraq and hovering over injured troops.

His statements are now like a ship that's taking on water. They're full of holes. I'm going to watch this guy's EVERY statement. He's going to leak some pretty big stuff here, is my take on it:smoke:

9. US Shot Down Plane - Possibly BECAUSE the passengers took control
There is much evidence that the US shot down flight 93.

See Griffin's book "New Pearl Harbor" or Ruppart's book "Crossing the Rubicon" for well documented, non-tin-foil hat, compelling evidence that 93 was shot down.

That the US shot that plane down is nearly certain. That they lied about what happened is documented by many serious inconsistencies in the official pronouncements.

The most sinister speculation posits that the passengers DID IN FACT gain control of the plane, which is WHY they HAD to shoot it down -- if the passengers had lived, they could have told everyone what really happened, and the complicity up to and including planning and execution of the US Government would have been exposed.

An interesting note, Rumsfeld also made a gaffe about "the damage that missile caused to the Pentagon" - there is a line of evidence and speculation that a missile rather than a passenger airline hit the pentagon.
