This is where we went wrong in identifying the right's policies, we failed to attach the 'stingy' tag to shame them into spending necessary funds.

examples:
Bush's stingy tax cuts for the rich
Bush's stingy student grants cutback
Bush's stingy environmental policy
Bush's stingy Social Security plans

I see the name Stingy is catching on rapidly on message boards I visit. It irks the bush whores to no end.

3. Sometimes, just framing the debate in the right terms...
can turn enough people around to change things.
"Stingy" definitely seems to be a pain inducing button for the repugs; we should definitely keep pushing it.
