Is the US committing genocide in Iraq?
Definition of genocide: the systematic and planned killing of an entire national, racial, political, or ethnic group; The intentional annihilation of a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group; Mass murder of a racial, national, or religious group.

This could make an interesting mantra. Scare some congressmen.

Let's see, 500,000 civilians during the blockade and 100,000 so far. No end in site.

Iraq death toll 'soared post-war'
Poor planning, air strikes by coalition forces and a "climate of violence" have led to more than 100,000 extra deaths in Iraq, scientists claim.

A study published by the Lancet says the risk of death by violence for civilians in Iraq is now 58 times higher than before the US-led invasion.

Unofficial estimates of civilian deaths had varied from 10,000 to over 37,000.

The Lancet admits the research is based on a small sample - under 1,000 homes - but says the findings are "convincing".

Responding to the Lancet article, a Pentagon spokesman defended coalition action in Iraq.

6. yes, with a qualification
I think its more because they are in the way of the oil, and the strategic location, than that they are muslim.
I think the neocons are doing it for power, but I think the SUPPORT being given the neocons is racist in its synergy.

In other words, the neocons are taking advantage of the racism of others to do the dirty work of eliminating a people for purely strategic reasons.

IMHO.

8. It's a form of antisemitism
Don't just read the US media reports on Iraq. Read Al Jazeera and then you will really feel bad. What the liberators are doing to those Semitic people is criminal. God help them!!!!
