Exactly how did USA Today's FOIA request go?
You know, where they got the documents that showed that Armstrong Williams was on the take for propagandizing?

I'm wondering what other "journalists" might be on the White House payroll. Two names that come immediately to mind are Robert Novak and Judith Miller.

Can anyone shed any light on the process?

2. Every federal agency has a FOIA office.
The FOIA contact should appear on the agency's web site. USA Today must have had a tip that something was funny with the Department of Education and Williams, so they made an FOIA request to that agency. Requests would have to be made separately to each agency, maybe something to the effect of asking for the disclosure of all information regarding any payments made to commentators, journalists, etc. They legally have to respond (at least until the Regime arranges for the repeal of FOIA).

3. it started with a survey of how reporters were reporting NCLB ....
http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2004-10-10-bush-school-ad_x.htm

...and Kennedy and Lautenberg were on it fast ...

USA Today was one of the newspapers that was graded by the farce so that's probably why they did the FOIA ...

4. You can do your own "digging" too at the following site
www.fedbizopps.gov

This is a searchable site of Gov contract to outside firms...but stuff is not easy to find unless you get familiar with the terminology.

You can also then check out the companies awarded contrcats at;

www.ccr.gov

...to see who they are and who owns them etc.
