re:CBS-Was Bill Burkett's source ever determined/found?
I heard on the noise thingy in my car this afternoon that, during an hour long, detailed "discussion" of the CBS story and had it proved liberal media bias that the person (s) who gave Bill Burkett these documents HAD been found. That was the only line about that inconsequential part of the story. The guy sure was forceful and sounded like he was sure he was right.

Seriously, was the source ever found and publicly identified?

2. I hadn't heard who it was except for Lucy Rodriguez or Ramirez . . .

But CBS should have never used it if they didn't get the person who supposedly gave it to Bob Burkett. Plus the copies they had were photo-copies. Oh wait, FAXED photo-copies. That is truly lame.

I used to write for a college newspaper, and we wouldn't have run this story without original documents and a verified trail of ownership.

Karl Rove or not, CBS screwed up royally and there's no excusing it. And Burkett should be sued for originally lying to CBS to make his story sound more valid. Plick.

3. Hmm..well, the media was ready to run with the swift boat stories
and those were all a bunch of lies. Nixon could attest to that.

4. Also I am getting pretty tired of NPR; they are not the station that
they were a year ago.

5. The slide at NPR..
... became real noticable by late 2002.

I stopped sending the local affiliate money, I hope everyone here stops also.
