Even the Brits are laughing at the ignorant bushbots. What's really funny is the bushbots don't know it. :D

2. That just about says it all
I wonder, even after today's report, how many Americans will still think there were WMDs in Iraq or that Saddam is Osama's best friend. Maybe it's both the papers they're reading and the television they're watching.

6. Sadly, I don't think most care
They know we are, for the most part, alone. They just don't seem to care. Ugly American at Large.

13. What they are advertising actually looks interesting
I am particularly interested in the "Le Monde" translations. It would great to see what the French journalists are saying throughout this tumultuous time in America.

15. The US and France have been at war since the end of WWII.
This is why we find so many articles (accurate as far as I can tell) iin the French press that aren't flattering to US policymakers.

As soon as WWII ended, the US started going after France's colonies, like Vietnam, and smearing the French as losers for propaganda purposes here at home.

The enmity is mutual. I suppose the French also realize it was the US corporations who own the White House that built Hitler's war machine and helpe get him in power. Not a nice thing to do to the continent.

Can't imagine any of the French would forgive the US for being complicit in European fascism, even if they did get liberated eventually.

Le Monde and the Agence France Presse will dish it out for this reason.
