Buy local, buy blue.
If you can, please purchase whatever you need from Democrat-friendly businesses, particularly those in your local communities.

It is hard to stop buying red completely, I realize, but if you think about it everytime you buy something, and think about alternatives, it can make a difference.

1. on this subject...
... I would love to see someone (or many someones) compile a list of businesses in individual areas to 'buy blue' at/from. In my area (Quad Cities IL/IA), we have almost exclusively large red corporations - for example, if I need to buy anything, I almost have to shop at Walmart here.

I know this would be difficult, but I'd love to know where I could be going, being as I haven't seen any locally-owned shops with everyday products here since I moved in 5 years ago.

8. This is the MOST potent weapon we have to regain our Democracy!
Mussolini is quoted as saying that "Fascism should more appropriately be called "corporatism" because it is the merging of corporations with the state". He was right. It is not enough to just buy blue, you have to tell some of the "red" companies that you are buying blue in response to their lopsided donations and attempts to "buy" legislation.

Very big Repub donors - laying out large amount of cash for * inauguration.

Plus, at a Fairfield Inn in Atlanta the room TV defaults to Fox News!

Marriott = Renaissance Hotels and Suites, Courtyard by Marriott, SpringHill Suites, Fairfield Inn, Residence Inn, TownePlace Suites, Marriott Hotels.

10. I've been to both those sites above and
they don't help much in an area like this. I'd love to get a link to the place where you can put in your location and get a local listing though.
