1. Believe CNN indicated this morning there will be a vote on Wednesday.

Can yet find no confirmation of this anywhere, so perhaps I misheard.

Found this in a Philadelphia Inquirer article today online--requires subscription.

"The Judiciary panel is expected to vote on Gonzales on Wednesday. He would succeed John Ashcroft, who resigned before the start of Bush's second term."

2. I think we need to blast the Senate emphasizing that A
VOTE FOR GONZALEZ IS A VOTE FOR TORTURE! REAL Americans don't believe in torture! It not patriotic to vote for a man who tries to justify torture!

3. thank you guys.
i just keep hearing that biden says he is voting no and someone else said kerry was voting no, so two no and all yes. and i am wondering is that the new thing? like thats the dem statement. we are mad so we will vote 2 no!!

thought we would have more info - ugh our party can not and should not aprove this man. it would be wrong and i think i would lose all respect for them. there are enough votes for bush to have his torture guy without our people saying yes you may.

JMO.
