Free speech and presents are legal (within certain limits of course). Threatening a president is not, and the definition of "threaten" is broad. So, would I get into trouble for sending a congratulations for continuing as our president present of a bag of pretzels (threat) or not (he does like to snack on them)?

2. Probably
You'll get a visit from an FBI SAC - no, that's Special Agent in Charge - and they'll get on your ass about what you did, what you meant. Watch your credit history get fucked up. Watch your neighbors after the Agent talks to them. Watch your dog start to take notes while he thinks you're sleeping.

Don't come here anymore. We don't know you.

Those Neo-conservatives have great sense of humors, just look at all of the neo-conservative comedians...like, uh, the tremendously unfunny Dennis Miller.

He is it I guess.

4. No, that's far too oblique to consider a threat.
Go ahead and do it.

Besides, you'd never get 'em past his taster.

6. We should all start sending in coupons for pretzels.
It wouldn't cost but the stamp, and we could do it on a weekly basis.

7. Be advised: last time I sent a package to my daughter, I had to show 2 IDs
I live in a VERY small town where the postmaster and the other USPS employee know everybody on first name basis.
