To my fellow Dean supporters.
After watching the State of The Union rebuttal by "our" party leaders, I am so very disappointed.....it's hard to describe the sheer frustration that runs through these veins!

With party "elders" like Pelosi and Daschle, no wonder we're giving away the people's voice in congress to the opposition!
All this "positive", "up-lifting", "conciliatory", "bi-partisan" message, these "leaders" have thrown us to the wolves...while they watch in safety.

Instead of getting out our message of truth, they're worried about "how are we going to win the south?" type of STRATEGERY!

This is BULLSHIT and unacceptable!

After reading countless threads and the media about how the good Governor is a "wacko", "nutjob", "mentally unstable"...etc for expressing an honest defiance of the human spirit, I'm committed, firmer than ever, with the Dean campaign.

Because, this election is NOT about "electability".
Nor, is this election about simply "kicking Bush" out of the WH.

It's about defining WHO WE ARE!

If this party, does not find it's identity.... no matter who we display as our candidate, they will simply cave like a fuckin' Souffle!

"YEEEAAAGGGHHH!"

You GODDAMN right Howard!

1. right there too
especially after watching Dean's speech in NH today on CSPAN, where he was back 'on' again in a major, very presidential way.

2. Did you see Dean's post SOTU response
from the blog- tight, strong.

Statement by Governor Dean Following Bush's State of the Union Address
"Tonight, President Bush made the case only for his defeat in November. President Bush offered a stale agenda that aids the special interests and does very little for working Americans.

"The President's speech underscored the need for replacing him with a proven, experienced leader, one who has balanced budgets and made tough decisions, and who stands up for the truth and what is right."

embodies everything about why we're getting our butts handed to us on a platter by this totally outrageous radical right wing.

Thanks for the post.

4. Talk about Dean imploding is a sorry state of affairs
when people are so blinded that they can't see that the party has imploded. Kerry and Edwards co opted a message but they surely cannot co opt the integrity of the messenger. It is time for a new day, out with the old and in with the new or all is lost with this party.

5. Amen, brother!
My critique of Democratic policy for the last 25 years is that is consists of "incremental weenieism".

Pelosi's was pretty good and Daschle is very articulate and likeable but we need to really get tough. Win. lose or draw, Howard Dean tells it like it is.

6. The DLC and Pink Tutu's will not save us from Bush
Watching Hillary Clinton applaud that fucking lying son of a bitch should have made that more than clear to anyone. And the so called "Democratic Response" looked like Neville Chamberlin came back from Hell to appease Hitler again.

These people - and their candidates - do not represent me, or the America I believe in.

DON'T WE DESERVE BETTER THAN THESE FUCKING COWARDS???

7. Right On! Every time I saw Dem leaders standing up and clapping for *
I wanted to puke.

If our "leaders" think * is doing such a terrible job, why were they clapping so much? The party in Washington has been so wussy and let Bush get away with so much, they should be surprised there are any Dems in Congress at all. All I ask is that my Democratic leader have a backbone, but I guess that's too much to ask.
