Thank you, President Bush
I was madder than hell at you after the election, W, but you've redeemed yourself in my eyes since then. Thank you for:

1) Giving that bizarre, over-the-top inaugural speech that scared everybody to half-to-death.

2) Nominating as your Attorney General the guy responsible for all those horrible pictures coming out of Abu Ghirab.

3) Nominating as Secretary of State a "yes-woman" responsible for your Iraq lies, giving the Democrats a golden opportunity to hammer home your administration's manipulations and deceptions.

4) Trying to mess with Social Security, the one social program EVERYBODY likes.

5) Holding that weird press conference the other day and acting cold-hearted, dumb and cranky all at the same time.

Thank you, W -- you've done almost everything I could have asked for. Heck, even Chris Matthews has finally noticed what a menace you are to democracy.

Keep up the good work, W!!

5. Chris is not happy with W
He had Redford on tonight and I was surprised when Chris said that Redford was to the right of him on the war.

14. he does shift with the wind, but I think he was truly shocked
I was watching the Inaugural coverage -- he looked pale after Bush's speech. I think he was truly horrified.

8. Bush's speech opened his eyes
Ever since then, he's been sounding as anti-war as the protestors. Last night he jumped all over Christie Todd Whitman, ripping the moderate Republicans who went along with Bush. Didn't see him tonight but there's a post here on GDP about his show: Apparently he was sounding more anti-war than Robert Redford.

I take this as a good sign: He blows with the wind, so the wind must be shifting.

3. That's great! You are an optimist, someone
we need here! :toast:
I too saw Tweety and he IS frightened; did you hear him say Redford was to the right of himself? Not often Chris admits his true feelings.

4. Great post!
All too true. And the four years of torture have only just begun.

Did anyone notice at that press conference how droopy one side of Shrub's mouth has gotten? Many people here talked about him having a degenerative nerve condition, perhaps complication from a stroke.
