The full program of the program for those who missed it. Personally, one of the best panels on the TUBE. :)

1. McLaughlin is an overblown gasbag, who has...

...been dining out on his personal friendship with Nixon for going on 40 years now...I'd love to see Chris Rock smack him down a notch.

3. Thank you
One of my favorite shows (never miss it), but sometimes it drives me nuts...everyone talking over the top of each other.

Totally different in print...better, and quite funny (IMO).

4. McLaughlin runs an Irish pub

That's the way to understand the show. Cranks, happily boozed up, bloviating with fake sobriety and drunken earnest on the topics of the day. All we lack is a couple of barstools thrown around at the most heated points.

I find it touching and entertaining, really. Half the time they're reciting talking points they made sure to memorize before the show- but the other half they're actually trying to think out loud, to the extent that they do think, which is quite revealing.

5. Thanks! Most of the Sunday pundit shows were pre-empted..
Sunday for non-stop "blizzard" coverage. I was having McLaughlin group withdrawals.
