How sick is George W Bush ?
I'm not talking about physically ill but he may be that also. I'm talking about mentally ill. How can anyone not see it? Why does everyone in the media continue to ignore it? The guy is certifiably crazy.

He gets all excited and joyful when people die - whether it be our Marines in battle or people in a tsunami. He simply enjoys death too much. And he openly enjoys it. He doesn't try to hide it. Just as when he was Governor of Texas and got the chance to sign the death warrants on those on death row. Remember when he mocked the lady that was on death row and even Jerry Falwell was trying to save her. No deal.

If you could think of all the characteristics of a sadistic megalomaniac, George W Bush would exhibit them all. He is one sick f#cking puppy, and people love him?? Every character flaw that is negative in an individual is found in George W Bush. He is arrogant. He is lazy. He is incurious. He abuses his power. He lies even when he could tell the truth. He pretends to be religious for political affect. He enjoys and mocks the ill fortunes of others. I cannot think of one decent characteristic in the man. I shouldn't even call him a "man".

1. I'm no doctor, but I'm gonna say "pretty fucking sick."
Just my non-professional diagnosis.

3. Read "The Bush Dislexicon" by Mark Crispin Miller
He goes into this in depth. - But you're right on. He also gets very articulate when he's talking death, revenge and destruction.

...when his actions or negligence send more people to get "judged by the Lord". He is indeed a sick mofo.

13. sorry couldn't get the link
but there is a book, something like Bush on the Couch, by a shrink which is very unflattering -- is your link to the same analysis? Actually there are a couple floating around that I have read. There's that whole thing about his sister dying and the parents not even having a funeral, and the problems lack of grieving bring -- could this be the reason for the lack of compassion and perceived glee regarding death?

8. His biggest issue is he has a Messiah Complex
I don't think he pretends to be religious. I think he's drunk on religion and truly sees himself as a savior. It's a symbiotic relationship with the neocons who keep him drugged as they do the nation.

10. Well...
I know you won't like this.

Hm, well yes. Sick. I know that most people on DU are different. Still:

To the world - out of experience - Bush represents the US just fine.

Sorry. It had to be said. The problems didn't start with Bush. I can't forget Vietnam, Nicaragua etc. etc. And neither does the rest of the world.

Remember Fallujah

Bush to The Hague!

16. Sadly, I agree.
The President is the "face" of the United States. He's the Everyman. I remember traveling in the 90's and the world loved Bill Clinton. I mean, people would go out of the way to tell you how much they admired him. The last few years, it's been the opposite. Our international reputation is going down the crapper and it's not doing our ability to compete and trade internationally any good. There are consequences to our choices.

17. I guess what puzzles me most....
is that no one, or very few, in the press will dare to point it out. It's obvious to a third grader. The guy in the WH is not stable nor "normal"...
